On March 28, 2025, the Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia (ISSP UL) hosted a joint event bringing together the ERA-Chair teams from the SWEB and FeLow-D projects to drive synergy on cutting-edge research. This gathering marked the official kick-off of the FeLow-D project, setting the stage for collaborations that will strengthen capacity-building efforts at ISSP UL and elevate the institute\u2019s international profile.<\/p>\n

During the event, participants discussed roadmaps and mid-term plans aimed at integrating both projects\u2019 expertise and resources. The teams also shared their experiences with capacity-building strategies\u2014reflecting on successful activities under the ongoing CAMART2 project\u2014while outlining added value and sustained impact for ISSP UL after CAMART2\u2019s completion. By uniting around common objectives, SWEB and FeLow-D will enhance research output, foster innovation, and drive long-term institutional growth.<\/p>\n
