AVL experts presented their latest activities and strategic directions, opening the floor for a lively exchange of ideas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">Dr. Boris Polyakov, Head of the Additive Manufacturing Group, presented SWEB research activities at the Thin Film Laboratory. Dr. Aleksejs Zolotarjovs, Head of the ISSP UL Optical Materials Laboratory, introduced the latest findings from the FeLow-D project and shared the lab-to-market transition story of Spectromarine. Dr. Gints Ku\u010dinskis highlighted the Swiss-Latvian Partnership in Applied Research programme and the technological portfolio of the Energy Materials Laboratory.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt;\">The meeting highlighted the importance of science\u2013industry cooperation, while the synergies created between ISSP UL laboratories provide a strong foundation for broader collaboration with industry and AVL. Both partners concluded that there are concrete opportunities for joint efforts within upcoming EIC Pathfinder calls and agreed to continue the dialogue.
