This year has been a period of thoughtful progress for the SWEB team, as we continued to strengthen our scientific capacity and broaden the network that supports our long-term vision for advanced chromogenic materials and smart windows. The work carried out across the project reflects a steady rise in competence and visibility. Our research groups matured, new collaborations were formed, and learning and development activities provided meaningful benefits to both senior and early-career researchers.
We successfully delivered all scheduled milestones and expanded our contribution to international research through invited lectures, conference participation, and outreach activities. The acceptance of our first article in Communications Materials stands out as a highlight, confirming the scientific potential that the project has nurtured. At the same time, our engagement with schools, young researchers, and industry partners helped to strengthen the connection between our laboratory and the wider community.
These achievements were made possible through the dedication of colleagues, the trust of our partners, and the continued support from the broader SWEB network. As the year comes to a close, I would like to express sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to this shared effort. I wish all of you a peaceful Christmas season and a new year filled with inspiration, good health, and new ideas that continue to move our vision forward.
