On 20 May 2023, the Institute of Solid State Physics of University of Latvia (ISSP UL) hosted the fifteenth event of the “Saules kauss” (“Sun Cup”), which promotes interest in science and alternative ways of energy generation among students in grades 5-12.
During the event, dr. Boris Polyakov, Senior Researcher at CFI’s Thin Film Laboratory, organized a meeting with a lecture on CFI’s smart window technologies, which allow buildings to be cooled or heated when needed, as well as an overview of smart window types, their use today and the future prospects of the technology.
