, to discuss the successful launch of a new ERDF-funded project on Advanced High-Performance Self-Switching Thermochromic/Photochromic Coatings for Smart Windows.Developed as a spin-off of the Smart Windows for Zero Energy Buildings (SWEB) project, this initiative is led by Dr. Boris Polyakov, Head of the Smart Nanomaterials and Additive Manufacturing Group, and aims to bridge cutting-edge research with real-world applications. Over the next three years, starting in June 2025, the project will focus on integrating refractive index-matched anti-reflective layers to enhance the performance of smart windows.
