For the second year in a row, we were proud to co-organize the DOCxOPTO conference, supporting young researchers in presenting their work, exchanging ideas, and building new scientific connections.
This initiative is closely aligned with the SWEB mission to support the next generation of researchers and strengthen research and innovation capacity.
This year, Smart Windows for Zero Energy Buildings also contributed with a dedicated section in the form of an Industrial Panel, reflecting our growing focus on lab-to-market transition and stronger collaboration with industry.
The panel featured an invited talk by Institute of Solid State Physics, University of Latvia (ISSP UL) Head of the Additive Manufacturing Group, Dr. Boris Polyakov, who shared valuable insights at the intersection of science, technology development, and industrial application.
The conference was excellently organized – special thanks to Milena Dile and her team for the great work and dedication!
