A new publication from the SWEB research team is now available

A new publication from the SWEB research team is now available in Solar Energy Materials and Solar Cells.

The study, “Hydrogen partial pressure as a key parameter in the reactive sputtering of photochromic YHO thin films,” shows that lower hydrogen partial pressure during magnetron sputtering can improve the transparency, photochromic contrast, and bleaching speed of YHO coatings, while also increasing the deposition rate. These results support further development and upscaling of photochromic coatings for smart window applications.

The work acknowledges support from the SWEB project (101087367) and the Latvian Council of Science

Project No. Lzp-2022/1-0454.
